Tax season without the chasing.
Canada-first, open to US firms with clear limits. The admin side of the client file, for solos and small tax teams. Live in an afternoon. Filing stays in your tax software.
One secure link: intake, vault uploads, and reminders that stop when the file is done, no client login
E-sign on that link for engagement letters, §7216, and Canada’s T183, not remote IRS 8879 yet
Drop in bank statements (PDF, CSV, Excel): AI sorts expenses and flags what it’s unsure about
Start free for 14 days. Book a walkthrough. No annual contract · No card to start · Canada-first, open to US firms with clear limits.
Everything between the onboarding call and the filed return, except the return itself. That stays in your tax software. The journey: Onboarding call → Questionnaire → Document list emailed → Vault upload → E-signature → Expenses sorted → Outcome emailed → Your tax software.
The intake. After the onboarding call: forty emails per client, all asking for the same things. One link. The questions adapt to the answers, and the document list writes itself. Say yes to rental income and the form asks for the rental statements, on screen and in the email that goes out automatically when they submit. No login for the client. It saves as they go.
The documents. Half of them have gone quiet. The other half texted you photos of documents. Every file lands in the client's own secure vault, and reminders chase the missing ones for you. Clients upload from the same link. You see what has arrived and what hasn't; the reminder cadence is yours, three steps or ten, and each email lists exactly what is still missing, then stops the moment it lands.
The signature. The engagement letter is stuck in a third tool. Engagement letters, IRS §7216 consents, Canada’s T183. E-signed on the same link, with a certificate. Signer email, timestamp, IP and location on every signature, and the confirmation reaches you the moment it is done. No DocuSign. Form 8879 in person only: the IRS requires knowledge-based authentication to sign it remotely, and we do not do that.
The expenses. A self-employed client sends fourteen months of bank statements. Drop them in. AI sorts every line into an expense category and flags what it isn't sure about. Bank statements only (PDF, CSV, Excel). It categorizes expenses; it does not do the return. You review the flagged lines instead of retyping four hundred.
The wrap-up. Forty-two clients want to know what they owe. Tell every client their outcome in one personalised send, from the same place. Templates with placeholders, unsubscribe handled, every send on the client's record. No MailChimp. The season ends where it started: one link, one record, your whole team on it.
That is the whole admin side of tax season, the part nobody can bill for. The bookkeeping and the return itself stay in your accounting and tax software; TaxFormify runs everything around them.
Also in the client record: Client invoicing: Bill the engagement from the same record the work lives in. White-label client portal: Your name and logo on every link your clients open. Team seats included: Plan-capped 1 / 3 / 5 seats. Everyone in the firm sees the same client record. Never billed per head.

Founder, Click Tax & Accounting: "We used to lose the first weeks of tax season chasing documents. Now clients respond before our first meeting, communication is smoother, and the data's collected before the accounting work even starts."
Owner, EasyCount: "I tried many solutions and gave up after a week. Too complicated. TaxFormify took me one afternoon to set up. My clients love the portal, and I love not paying per user."
Results: 97% client response rate, 30+ hrs saved per hundred clients. Based on one firm's experience. Your results will differ with your client mix, how many documents each return needs, how quickly clients respond, and how much of your admin you move across.
