There are no per-user fees on any plan — team seats are included in the plan price rather than billed per head. Billing is month to month; you can cancel at any time.
All prices listed are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Canadian firms are billed in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout — GST/HST, or GST plus QST in Quebec and GST plus PST in British Columbia and Saskatchewan, for Canadian firms, and state or local sales tax where your US state taxes software subscriptions. The checkout total will be higher than the figures above.
Frequently asked questions
Why is TaxFormify more expensive than some alternatives?
Because we deliver more value. The cheapest practice management tools either lack critical features or charge per-user fees that quickly exceed our pricing as your team grows. At $79-$399/month with no per-user fees, your cost does not grow as you hire - so the larger your team, the further ahead a flat plan puts you against per-user pricing. For very small teams a per-user tool can work out cheaper; the trade is that its bill rises with every seat and ours does not, and we stay month-to-month either way.
How does TaxFormify compare to TaxDome?
TaxDome is a powerful platform - but it's built for everyone, not specifically for tax accountants. We differ in: Focus (US and Canadian tax accountants vs global firms), Pricing model (flat monthly packages vs per-user), Learning curve (hours vs a steeper ramp-up), and Contract flexibility (true month-to-month vs annual default with limited seasonal monthly). If you want to be productive tomorrow with full flexibility, choose TaxFormify.
Why should I pay $199/month when Basil is $30/month?
Basil offers solid basics at an entry-level price. TaxFormify Professional includes: Conditional logic forms that adapt based on client responses, 4,000 bulk emails/month vs basic email, 3 team seats included (Basil charges per user), Priority support with dedicated response times, and tax-specific design focused on how tax practices actually work. For growing firms that need automation and team collaboration, TaxFormify delivers significantly more value.
What if I'm not happy? Am I locked into a contract?
No. TaxFormify is month-to-month with no annual contracts, no setup fees, cancel anytime. While most competitors default to annual billing (TaxDome, Karbon, and Canopy all prefer annual commitments), we earn your business every month. We're confident you'll stay because the software works, not because you're trapped.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! Try TaxFormify free for 14 days - no credit card required. You'll have full access to all features so you can see exactly how much time you'll save before committing.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. The price you see is the price you pay. E-signatures, client portal, reminders, bulk emails - all included. No per-signature fees, no add-ons, no surprises.
